2003 Harley Davidson sportster headlight upgrade?

I have a HD 2003 1200 sportster custom and work nights a lot and half my ride is in the country on back roads with curves and the shoulder consists of trees and ditches. I've had some close calls with deer and I'd like to get a brighter headlight setup but the triple tree light setup says it won't fit if I have an engine guard. Are there any options to getting a brighter single headlamp? The harley website only offers a deep bullet lamp and the triple tree chrome auxiliary lighting kit which won't fit since I have the engine guard.
 
Jason is right the only real improvement is an HiD conversion
in the UK they cost about £70.00 in USA I think they are about $50.00
THey are really worth it and the bulbs never fail so the cost of replacement and upgrade will soon pay for itself.
