2003 Ford Taurus: Window won't open?

The rear window on the driver's side won't open. I can hear the motor trying to work but it doesn't move. What's most likely broken and how do I fix it?

Take it to a glass shop. Inside the window there are pins that keep the window on track. They are made of plastic and break rather easily. If one of these pins are broken then the motor will try to pull the window but it will not move. Or it could possible move slightly but at the same time rattle and sound as if your going to break the glass. Its a simple fix.

Window motor regulator has gone bad. It is the track that the window itself attaches to, and the cables that raise and lower the window that come off of the pulleys or snap not allowing the track to raise or lower
