2003 ford ranger fx4 gas mileage?

im looking at getting a ford ranger fx-4 and i was wondering if the gas mileage is good, it's 15city/19highway its a 4.0 v-6
 
Ha ha!

My good friend has a 2008 Black FX4. Great little truck. Torquey engine, fair gas milage. He is a teenager so his gas milage suffers a bit, but he has claimed to get an average of 18 or so. I imagine up to 25 on the highway. If you have the funds to do so, I recomend you look at the F150 as the MPG numbers from the V6 Ranger are compairable to the F150 with more power. My suggestion.

That's not terrible for gas mileage. My car has a v-6 and does 21 in the city and 28 on the highway. 15/19 isn't too bad, however remember gas won't be as cheap as it is now for ever!
