I have been having problems with my Focus cutting off while I am driving and everytime it does it, my cd/radio player restarts with no saved stations or anything. It is like my battery is being disconnected and reconnected while drivning...because the thing is my car never completely cuts off, evrything just completely shuts down, the dash lights all go off, the guages all go down, my cd/radio will shut off and then within seconds..everything will go back on: the dash lights come back on and the gauges go back to normal..the only thing that doesn't come back on it the radio and the when I do turn the power button on everything is reset...It sucks. At first the check engine light would come on and I have changed the following: transmission switch, battery posts and cables.....and when something is changed the car will run great for approx 2 weeks and then it will start all over again??? The last thing we did was the battery posts and that was 2 weeks ago so of course this morning on the way to work...it started again..Should I take to a place for diagnostic? The check engine light is not on? What could it be?
