2003 Ford F150! best answer?

I'm getting my permit this week, and my step dad is going to give me his 2003 ford F150, Would you recommend this truck? especially for a first time driver? And is this truck safe?



What would you rate it on a scale of 1-10



and what are some ways I can make this truck look girly. :P
