horrible.? 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with Cummins starts in second gear and throttle response is horrible.?
My 2003 Cummins Dodge Ram 2500 with the 47RE automatic transmission will often start driving in second gear if I put it in Drive. Usually it will only start in 1st gear if I put the shifter in 1st, but sometimes it won't even let me shift into 1st. Also if I hold the accelerator to where the engine is running at 2000 rpm while stopped and in neutral, if I let go of the accelerator the engine will stay at 2000 rpm for almost a whole second before it goes to idle. Anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it?
