2003 Dodge Caravan steering problem?

My wife's 2003 Dodge Caravan has had all its recall work done. Over the weekend, during torrential rain, the power steering cut out for a few seconds. While it works fine now, I am concerned about the problem. Does anybody know of any other reports of this or have any suggestions as to the cause. It's dark now so I can't check the power steering fluid levels.
 
Sometimes there is like a blank or dead spot in the steering or pumps that can cause this or even a air bubble in the system , but check the fluid level and maybe try not just checking the power steering pump belt but also add some power steering additive like Lucas to the system and that may cure the problem too even.
 
you may have just got the belt wet on it and made it cut out for while mine will do that if it gets wet,then it comes back in like nothing was ever wrong with it,id check the fluid level though to be sure it was full,chances are though it got the belt wet and caused it to slip a little,good luck.
