2003 Dodge Caravan Low Oil - Wont Start - Safety Shut off?

How do you clear the safety shut off after the van engine shuts down. I have brought the oil levels up to proper levels. Oil was extremely low but engine is not seized.

I read once before that you switch the key from off to on 3 or 4 times and wait then start...

any suggestions be great.
