blower motor good? all speeds not working but my mechanic did temp fix he hooked up power directly from battery to the relay. Now the fan stays on all the time draing the battery over night.

Well if you know those parts are all good 100% then if the switch is getting power but when you turn it on the switch has no output voltages then it be the switch. Some of those not sure about that vehicle can't rem but some have modules that also control the heat A/C and fan so you might want to try a parts store see if they can give you a diagram or schematic of that circuit and they print them out for free too.

What I hate about Dodges is they tend to use low grade or thin wiring in their systems and there could be simply a wire burnt , melted or damaged even internally in the circuit.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way if I had little cash etc I'd be going to a U pick auto wreckers and simply removing parts for that vehicle that deal with the fan system but keep in mind that not always when testing parts and they seem to test good but in fact aren't.Sometimes under a current or resistance test the part or device seems to read good but under a load they don't work at all and that goes for resistors, switches, relays, and motors etc.
