2002 Pontiac Gran Prix lower control arm noise, when driving over rolling...

...bumps in the road you get a squeak? If you hit a pot hole you do not always get the noise. I tried to recreate the noise by pushing up and down on the front end while having someone listen and it seems the noise is coming front the front lower control arm bushing on the right side. Also the right side arm is sitting lower on the bushing almost touching the lower part of the frame. How difficult is this to change. I know I have to unbolt the ball jooint but do I have to loosen anything above that or just the ball joint and unbolt the bushing and remove. Do the bushing have to be pressed in or how do you replace them??
Any help would be appreciated.

After replacing my forward lower control arm bushings it solved the issue. Yes they have to be pressed out.

Hate to tell you this but GM has had a ton of problems with the forward bushing only. They beat-up and wear out very rapidly. Wish I could tell you of a company who makes improved urithane bushings but I don't know of any.
