What would you do????
I purchased a used 2002 Mazda MPV from a dealer on Monday, van worked fine for a few days and then on Thursday the engine light came on. I called the dealer Friday morning and told him, he said to have the code read and then call him back. I had the code read and the guy told me it was a shift solenoid B code and that the transmission was probably going, I have a 30 day 50/50 powertrain warrenty but I don't want to spend $3000 to fix a tranny. The dealer thinks it might be a coil or it might be a solenoid sensor... I don't have enough money for trial and error. Should I take it back to him and get my money back???
