I just replaced the alternaor on my 2002 Ford Windstar. When it is cold and I drive about 2 miles, it dies. When trying to start, it will not fire up. Starter runs fine. NOW... as soon as I turn the key to the off position and back on again and start it, it fires right up. It only does this once. The engine runs perfectly otherwise. Very confused.
