in a 2002 taurus can you change stereo systems? for instance right now it has a full faceplate its all one piece with the stereo and heating all that stuff. im wondering if there is any way that i can take that out undo the wires and hook up a custom stereo like a sony...... i need to do this to hook up an amp. is this possible? i still want the faceplate to stay so i can still use the heating and a/c but is there any way just to take out the wires to the stereo?
