I have a 2002 Ford Taurus SES, and I noticed that when I'm at the traffic light the temperature rises almost all the way up to the red line, but when I start driving the temperature goes back down to normal level.
Could this be the Fan is bad or the switch, I know that is not the water pump, or the thermostat, it has to be either a defective fan or switch.
