So I just bought a used 2002 Ford Focus and within a day, the CEL came on. I've taken it into a Firestone, and they came back with the result that I need to replace my DPFE sensor and one of my O2 sensors.
I can easily replace the DPFE myself, no problem. However, they don't know which O2 sensor needs replacing (before or after cat) and gave me the option of replacing both, or guessing at which one needs replacing and wasting money if I'm wrong.
I 'm just wondering if anybody here knows, or can link me to, a way to figure out which O2 sensor I need to replace, as well as a guide on how to actually replace the O2 sensor. I definitely am not in any financial place to take this to a dealer and drop a couple hundred on their maintenance work if I can do this myself.
