2002 ford focus , clunking noise on the front end?

i ruled out brakes, engine mount and suspension. still has lound clunking noise on small bumps.

Have the struts replaced thats what happens when they go bad

One of two things, eat her bad struts or CV joints.
Prob lay bad struts.

check the sway arm bushings as well, they can cause quite the racket at times.
