2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Transmission Problem?

Everything works fine except when I put it in reverse, it has no power and it revs to about 2000 rpm before it starts to move and it moves very slow. Even when i push the gas some more it barely moves. But once it gets moving its fine. All forward gears work fine, upshifting and downshifting, no power loss what so ever. Any ideas what this could be?
I was looking at a recalls website and it said a POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DIFFERENTIAL UNIT. Could this have something to do with it.
