well the problem is that my durango used to rev itself when I came to a stop or when it was on park...and also if I stepped on the gas just a little bit and then just let go of it the engine would just shut down...well I changed the throttle position sensor...It fixed the revving BUT the engine still shuts down when I press just a little bit on the gas...does the sensor has to be adjusted or something??...or what else can be causing my problem...

If the cars computer detected that the tps was bad, you have to reset the computer in order to get the tps to work.
When the cars computer detects a fault, it sends a signal to the cars computer and it stores it as a fault, and turns on the check engine light.
When you replace the old part with the new one the computer does not know you did it. You must reset the computer .
After you reset the cars computer it will now receive the correct information from the TPS and it should be find. If the light comes back on, you might have something else wrong with the car.

no it doesnt get adjusted check your maf sensor unplug it and see if it gets better also check icv valve
