Passenger side door on voyager not working with electrics anymore how can this be fixed. you can here it clicking but it will not open, any ideas.

I think the motor is hanging up and not allowing the lock to release. Your going to have to take the door apart or have the shop do it.

Common fault on these I'm afraid - from R reg onward.

They never resolved it - you will need to have the electronic/electrical parts replaced - best bet is to find one in a scrapyard because they cost a fotrune from the main dealer.

You will then have to disassemble the door lining and replace the control units. Word of warning - I am not sure as to the location on this model (2002 model) - it is not uncommon for the control units to be placed in different areas of the car - you may find the unit for the driver door is situated under a panel/in a panel or behind the nearside passenger door.

You will need to know the location of the control unit before attempting this - word of advice - if you get one from a scrapyard try to obtain the auto window unit as well (if fitted) as these are also a common fault

erm take it to a main dealer. Ask them to tell you whats wrong then fix it yourself. They only charge for the repair not the diagnosis. good luck
