2002 Chevy Cavalier Driver power window won't roll back up Please Help?

My driver side window went down like normal the other day and then suddenly would not go back up! However, before this happened, the window always seemed to go up kinda slower than the passenger side window, and then shortly after that, I had to help it up sometimes. The thing is, when I first got the car it did the same thing, but then shortly after started working again, and worked for a while too... Now when I try to roll it up, it goes about an inch and then stops like it has went all the way up, the gear doesn't continue to grind or anything it just stops,,,there is power going to the window, so its not the switch, I have read that it could be "the regulator is binding in the track" or "the reverse gear in the motor is messing up" or last " the motor is bad" It just doesn't seem like the motor is bad because it doesn't make any grinding sounds, it just sounds like it hits a jam or something, like there is something blocking it totally, I can press the window up/down switch back and forth and the gears engage , but it just still hits and stops, Please, any help would be great! Thank You Very Much, remember the window switch is good and no matter how hard I try, I cannot pull or push the window up while pressing the up button, it just jams and everything stops, no motor grinding or whining like the motor is weak, I push down and it goes back down about an inch and then back up another inch and stops, Insane, I'm boggled, I really didnt want to have to take it to a mechanic, so i was hoping someone could help me out here. thanks
