2001 Yamaha TTR-125 Dirt Bike Problem.?

I got a 2001 Yamaha TTR-125 4 Stroke Dirt Bike. It is very easy to kick start and if I try I can almost push down the level SLOWLY with my hand (NOT HARD ENOUGH TO CRANK IT OVER THOUGH.) Is the Kick exspossed to be like very easy because mine starts with about 6 kicks WHEN COLD, WHEN HOT it starts first kick. Is this bike normal to have really low compression?
Runs OK and is pretty fast and powerfull?
