2001 yamaha banshee, Should the water pump move when enging idles?

When you start your engine the water pump starts as well as long as the
engine keeps running till you turn it off.

Should the water pump move when it is idling? I think mine is stuck. I marked it. It shows no movement after i removed the cover. Also when i shut it off it you can hear gurgling by the radior.
 
HELLO; Ive got a banshee and this is an easy fix, remove both covers of your pump, pull the impeller out and see if it isnt spinning on the shaft, if it is and im thinking it is throw that thing away and buy yourself a good aftermarket one on e-bay for just a few bucks, it will have higher flow rate and give you trouble free proformance. GOOD LUCK.....GREASY. P.S. and remember YOU MUST BE FAST BECAUSE I WAS HAULIN ASS WHEN I PASSED YOU.
