My daytime running lights don't work anymore. That's not a problem for me during the day, but at night, I have to turn my headlights on manually. Then when I try to turn off my headlights manually and turn off the ignition, the lights stay on until I finally get them to turn off. Is there an easy solution? The last time this happened (5 years ago), I had to pay nearly $500 to get a new switch...the mechanic said there was no way to just disable the daytime running lights since they were tied in to the lighting system. I have since heard that is not true. Any comments?
