little while. has new battery? i was riding today and my bike lost power. i jumped it and it ran for a mile or so. I had the battery tested and they said it was bad, i got a brand new battery and it is still doing the same thing. when i try to start it it just clicks very fast and alot. the engine wont turn over. but if i hook the jumper cables to it it will start but dies shortly after. usually once i get driving it about a mile or two. Also seems like clutch is having issues, would clutch have anything to do with this problem??

I would go along with BMW Rider, also I think the clutch is a separate problem. Make sure it's fully releasing. Check the free play on the lever- it should have several millimeters slack. If it isn't grabbing like it used to, go easy on it. Don't slip it and don't pop it. Be certain you don't put anything in the crackcase that doesn't beling there. Cycle oil and automobile engine oil are very different. I don't know for sure, but if it's supposed to have ATF in the clutch case, check that.
