2001 jeep alternator problem 4.7 L?

Alternator not charging the battery.I had alternator checked,it checked out ok .Battery fully charged, put volt meter on it,and read it while the vehicle was running. The meter started at 13v and started dropping like it was draining the battery.
i also put a another alternator on
and it doing the same thing
 
Yeah i would agree w/ silver on that one. I would check it to make sure it's not a loose wire.
 
another way to check to see if you have a bad alternator is to start the car pull the positive cable off the battery if the car dies then replace your alternator.
 
Its the alternator then. The person who checked the alternator didn't do it right then. I had seen that done when I had my vehicle checked, and it ended up being a loose battery connection.

Then why didn't you say this in the first part of your question? Seems you have a wiring problem then.
