2001 Ford focus wagon 10amp fuse to running lights keeps blowing?

I have a 2001 focus .The fuse to running lamps keeps popping its a 10 amp i put a 20amp in its place is the car safe that way?

Did you install any extra electronics (power amps, stereo) that is wired off the same fuse?

There should be no reason for the fuse to blow. If the fuse CONSTANTLY blows then you probably have a short and changing it to 20 amp is risking the WHOLE CAR catching fire (that is the purpose of fuse - to prevent electrical fires).

So get it fixed right.
