So on Friday I drove my car to the mall to go shopping. I get in my car to leave and my car doesn't start up. I tried waiting a few minutes and tried again. No dice. So, I got a tow to Ford right down the road, and this was their analysis. The yahoo who had my car before me put a ford ranger 3.0L performance chip in the computer! They said as soon as they took it out and drove it around it worked like a charm. The technician said if it were to happen again it could be something with the idler? I can't remember what he said the name of the part is. But it was going to be 200 for the part. Great.

So yesterday I was driving around downtown Seattle to look for apartments and the does the whole I don't want to work deal again. Would start up and then die immediately. So, now 220 dollars in towing in a 24 hour period of time it's back at Ford for them to look at it bright and early tomorrow morning!!

I'm frustrated with Ford for telling me that if it were to happen again this is why. Why not fix it just then??? I know it's a FORD and some are garbage but my focus has never given me any problems after 5 years of owning it.. Any suggestions on what I should ask Ford when I call them? Too bad they won't reimburse me for the tow :(

Thanks :)
