2001 Ford Explorer A/C?

I recently I replaced the battery cable (what a task that was) and since then when I turn on the A/C it blows the fuse. I traced the wires and checked them and found no breaks or anything. I tested the wires on the new cable and it did not show any shorts. I am at a loss of what to check next. I am not sure if I can bypass the new wires and connect it directly to the battery for testing purposes. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

you have a short in the AC system places to check with you short tester is at the ac clutch, the pressure switch. and the blower motor. when you were making the other repair you were close to the pressure switch or you may have rested tools or your hand on the ac clutch shorting the wire.
Good luck
