I have a 2001 ford escape. I tried to start the car in the morning and it did the "r r rr r" and stops. all lights are on inside, the radio comes on. Then when i start it a little and let it charge, then start it again, it works. I want to find out if something is wrong with it, so i don't have a greater problem in the future. I thought to ask you guys before taking it to a mechanic.
Also, my check engine light is on, but we serviced it less than two months ago.
Is this normal in a Ford escape of thsi age?
