I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus 2 door with a V6 3.0 24 valve engine. It was sitting for a week and now it won't start. We checked the spark on the plugs and they were good. We are pretty sure it is a fuel problem. The gas gauge reads over full but I know it isn't. I put 5 gallons of fresh fuel in it.

We traced the fuel line from the tank to the engine. We could not locate the fuel filter. We didn't not even see a fuse for the fuel pump.

Where is the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel fuse on this car? This car was in an accident several weeks ago but we have been driving it. Is there a fuel shutoff valve for when there is an accident?
Also, should you be able to hear the fuel pump when the key is on? I just checked and I cannot hear anything.

Almost all cars have an automatic fuel shut off in case of accident, and they are all not in the same place.
fuel pumps are usually in the gas tank, and if the pressure is up, you will not always hear the pump working.
I would suggest getting a Haynes repair manual from any auto parts store and get the needed information from that book as to where the filter is located and the fuel shut off.
