Alright I bought a project transmission to fix out of a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5 speed 318. Going into the same truck The first and second shift fork was sheered off at the spot where it cups to the gears. Got a new fork, got the 3-4 fork out and I'm all ready for the new fork to go in. I cant seem to get the drivetrain (gears/guts) out of the tail housing to put the new fork in. Doesnt anyone know how to get this out. I thought the full set of gears all comes out in one piece, but I cant get it to budge.
If anyone could help me solve.
