2001 Dodge Neon Battery Warning Problems.. HELP!!?

SInce a few weeks ago, Its been showing it.. We switched the fuses, I got a new battery, changed the alternater, which i had tested at autozone, and the radiator, (I know it has nothing to do with the battery, but it was broken) and we cleaned the connections..

The battery light still shows when the engine is turned on.. But when only the power is on.. it shows only the check engine light.. but not the battery

IDK if I should move it..

Is this just a glitch? or is there something I did worng... PLEASE HELP this is urgent that I get this problem fixed before monday, when I start my new job..

When the engine is running and if the check engine light is on it has nothing to do with the battery or alternator. The bat light may come on when the key is in the run position but the engine is not running, that is normal. You need to get the codes read from a dealer or auto zone will do it for free.

you need to get a voltmeter and an amp meter and check to make sure those are good anything around 14 volts is good. Newer cars usually go 13.9 volts. Amps very per vehicle but 2-4 amps is enough with a fully charged battery... also you need to check your belt tension a loose belt will cause it to slip and not turn the alternator as fast causing a low charge.
