Last night on my way home from work the battery light came on in my display window, then within 5 mins of that happening the nice hot air that was coming out of my heater turned to freezing cold air. So I turned the heater off and kept driving, 5 mins later I turned the heat back on thinking that it might start working now and it did for a few seconds then started to blow freezing cold air again, I did this 3 more times before I got home. When i got home I looked at the owners manuel, it said that the battery light came on because the battery was charging. So I figure that was the problem with the heater.
This morning when I went to warm my car up the battery light did not come on so I figured all was taken care of, so I left for work well the heater never got to the point were it was ever warm it just blew freezing cold air when ever I turn it on.
What could be causing this? The heater only blows luke warm air for a few seconds & then the freezing air after that. PLEASE help. It has been in the 20's here.
Thanks
