I asked a question earlier about oil. I checked the oil its very very low, I added a quart now. The question is, this morning it was very cold -9. The car has always started before in the cold. Though today it turned or cranked 2 times then a electrical clicking noise. After that it would turn once or twice and then click, after a couple trys it will only click. I check the computer error codes, I am getting only a Battery disconnected in last 50 trys, error. The battery is fine, there is no dim lights, the heat and radio run just fine, upper dome comes on. I tried again after adding the new oil, and more cranks and turns but still no start and more clicking. What could this be? IF it was a seized engine would it even turn? I just lost a Crown Vic last wed to a siezed engine due to cracked gasket and thrown something or other. I dont remember all the problems. It was very old, however that one the engine wouldnt turn even a little. Is it more a starter issue? I am too afraid and to sick to my stomach to give up this easy yet and tow it in. Also too embarrased. I dont want to lose my second car to the same thing in less than a week.
