the dashboard lights never worked since i bought the car used, and recently, now all the guages have stopped working and my transmission is in "limp mode" meaning it won't leave second gear. i thought the BCM might have gone, so i pulled it out from under the dashboard and looked at the circuit board. turns out YES... one of the chips on there is totally bent up and fried, so i guess i need a new BCM but here's the question. THE JUNK YARD HAS A COUPLE BCM'S FROM MY SAME MAKE/MODEL CAR. WILL THE NEW(OLD) BCM WORK SINCE IT'S FROM THE EXACT SAME KIND OF CAR? AND I SHOULDN'T NEED PROGRAMMING SINCE IT'S ALREADY PROGRAMMED TO RUN ON THE SAME CAR WITH THE SAME POWER FEATURES, RIGHT? i don't have alot of money and the junk yard said i can get it for 125... i hope I can just install with no problems... any comments?
