So my chevy sounds like a really loud harley .. ..... I took it in and they said its my converter. Not the one in the middle of the car but the one in the engine area. They looked in the hood and told me it was cracked and pretty much gone. It is gonna take 700$ to get the part and an extra 160 for labor. I was looking online and i see some for cheaper. I found a few online ... can anyone tell me if this is the one i need? I can have someone install it for me i just need to buy the part. The guy thats going to do it for me is out of town and im trying to collect it so when hes back i can get it fixed asap. It has an exhause smell in the car when the heater is on so i cant take my son anywhere so please dont say wait until hes back. If anyone know if its correct please let me know.
