2001 chevy Impala... Fuel gauge not working properly?

Last week I just got a tune up on my car and a few days later the fuel gauge started acting wierd. When you crank it up and leave it in park, the guage is accurate but once you start driving it will increase by a quarter tank back and forth until you put it in park again. Is this just a problem with the tank or could it have something to do with the tune up
