i was wondering if you guys thought a 2001 Camaro with 111,000 miles on it. has t-top with leather seats is worth 3,440$ what do you guys think about it would you spend that much on the car?

Yeah if it was the V6 model. The 3.8L engine was a transplanted Buick motor that has a history of good reliability. As with any sports car, how well it was driven is key. Was it taken care of or was it some teens first new car to beat on? Who is to say, but any car like this requires an inspection & Carfax report. Of course I would offer less then work my way up.

That's a lot of miles for a GM engine; you can plan on putting a lot of money into keeping it running properly in the future. That's also not a very high performance engine, especially given the weight of the car.

But, the 01 Camaro has the plastic body panels, meaning that rust is less of an issue than for many other cars that are that old. And they look nice and have decent fuel efficiency.

If it was in really good condition, $3,400 might be reasonable. Just know that your cost of ownership will be higher than on a lot of other cars.
