I have decided that when i turn right and the noise goes away that the front right wheel bearing is bad. when i turn right the sound goes away. when i turn left it becomes "deeper" sounding so to say. i sound like a prop plane inside my car.
When installing this assembly what is the torque spec for the castle nut on the axle(the bolt in the center of the hub). I'm not sure if that is the center hub bolt or what it is referred to, but I hope you get the description. Also, if you think that I am not fixing the right wheel hub please tell me before i get into this on Friday afternoon. passenger front right will make more noise when i turn left correct? and when i turn away less noise?
I would like to avoid spending the money of a book since i am currently laid off and unemployed. however i just need to know the FT. LBS. of torque on the center castle nut. I am aware of the 3 bolts on mine. any other assistance is appreciated
