I bought a 2001 Buick Le Sabre Limited back in August and it drove just fine for a couple months. My problem started in mid November when I started having troubles started the car. It would take a couple tries before my car would start. I just figured it was due to the weather getting colder, but then the problem got worse. When I would stop at stoplights my car would start to rumble and shake and then would eventually would just turn off. Then it started turning off while I was driving. It would only happen once in a while but now it happens multiple times a week. It has also gotten harder to start the car. I now have to hit the accelerator while starting it for the car to start.
Me and my dad took it to Tires Plus and they did a tune up on the car which included changing the fuel filter (my dad thought thats what the problem was), The people at TiresPlus drove it around for a while, and they said they had no problems, so I thought the problem was fixed, but it has continued to turn off while driving and especially while stopped at stoplights. Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be? I'd really appreciate it because I don't know much about cars and would like to have an idea about the problem could be before I take it back in.
