Turning 16. I want an Expedition for my first car. My mom loves them for their safety and comfort. However, her and I are fighting over their notorious gas mileage of 11/12city13/14hwy. I have read on the internet about the legit GAS HOGS like this about "aftermarket" products that improve gas mileage on dinosaur rigs like this. If I could just get it to 15mpg that would be great. Any ideas? Im desperate to convince her and dont tell me to just get a newer Expedition because I'll only have about $5000-$6000 to spend on an Expedition. So a 2001-2002 is what I'll be lookin at. IM DESPERATE!!! HURRY WITH THESE ANSWERS!!!
