2000 pontiac bonneville seems or acts like it is missing?

car is in great shape 75,000 but lately while driving it occasionally seems to be missing. can't hear anything but can feel it but not all time. not bad but definitely there. i changed the fuel filter but didn't help. took it on 1100 mile trip and did fine but could feel it missing occasionally???any ideas, maybe i should have someone scan with a computer
