2000 Mercedes S430 or 2003 Cadillac CTS?

Im looking at buying a used car between $10-$13k. Both these are in that range. The Mercedes has a and in-dash screen with leather and more powerful than the CTS.

Which car would you buy?
 
The Mercedes
It is more roomier
More of a smoother quieter ride
German Built
It is more powerful than the CTS
More Classier
More luxurious

The CTS
Is Smaller
Cloth Seats, I'm guessing?
For senior citizens.

The CTS would be cheaper to maintain, but the S-Class is a better car overall.
