burned out 3 replacement? My 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.7 V-8 quit running on the expressway & had it towed to a garage where they found a bad coil pack on the 2nd cylinder on the drivers side. They replaced it and it still would not start. Then they found that a fuse under the hood (if I remember right) for the computer was blown. That seemed to cure the problem. I drove the car about15 miles turned it off for about 15 miniutes then started it backup and it began to skip. As I was returning to the garage the same fuse blew again, I replaced it with a spare that I had purchased just in case continued to the garage and they replaced the coil pack thinking that it may have been defective. The engine ran fine for a couple minutes then burned up the coil pack head where the wires connect as well as the plug on the wire connecting it. They ran out of ideas so I took it to a second garage where they spent several hours checking all the wiring to see if there was a short and found nothing. They did change the spark plug. Still not right. Now the Transmission is shifting up and down and the engine is running rougher than it did in the beginning. Any ideas
