The mechanic told me i needed a new engine,I have a 2000 jeep cherokee limited v-8 4.7 liter engine. I think i am going to go with a used engine. How do they test it, if it is used to know if it is a good engine?Exactly what test do they preform on it? I really dont understand. Do they just take a engine out of a car. If it is used where do they get it from?
