2000 JEEP CHEROKEE A/C AND HEAT WONT WORK ON HIGH?

SOMETIME IT WILL WORK ABOUT 5 MIN. THEN GO OUT IF YOU GET THE BLACK BOX UNDER THE DASH IT WILL COME BACK ON. bUT WONT BLOW ON HIGH???????? plEASE hELP hAVE A KID NEED HEAT

switch dirty most of time might remove switch clean the dirt off it and it might work that or replace switch

Sounds like the blower motor needs replaced. Or the wiring and switch checked for continuity. But since the blower works on all the other settings and will work on high if you hit the box, it sounds like the bearings on the motor are bad and won't let it spin on high. These are not difficult to replace nor too expensive, Just hard to access. With a little patience, you can replace it yourself and save a shop repair.
