My 2000 Indian Chief's brake light stays on all of the time. As do the rear signals. When I hit the front brakes, the rear signals go off but both elements in the taillight are still on (constant). Front brake plunger is working fine and not stuck. I checked power to the rear brake switch and both leads have constant power. Am I correct in assuming that one side or the other should be dead until brakes are applied? Driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
