I have a 2000 Honda Cr-V and just had to replace the battery in the car. My remote also happened to not be working at the time, so I changed the battery in that as well. The remote still does not work and the alarm disables the ignition.
There is no reset button on my remote either. It's the factory alarm so I don't know what kind it is.
