I just bought a used 2000 Honda Civic Si. It looks as if it did not have a factory installed spoiler when new, but does have a Honda Civic spoiler now. The LED brake light in the spoiler is not working, but the 3rd brake light in the rear window is. I took off the spoiler and found that the wires for the light aren't connected to anything. What is the best way to get the brake light in the spoiler working? Do I need to disconnect the brake light in the dash of the back window and use that connection for the spoiler? Or do I need to splice the wires into other brake light wires somehow? Any suggestions would be great. The LED light in the spoiler has two wires (green and black) that travel through the spoiler (and now through the trunk) and at the end of the wires is a connector of some sort. Best I can describe it.... one plastic/rubber connector with both one male and one female connection. similar to the end of a 9v battery. Hope that made any sense. Thanks in advance.
