My mom had a friend install a new battery and they put it in backwards i know stupid but what i need help to fix it. I checked all the auxiliary Fuse box fuses and all of them checked okay now the engine turns but wont start. What can it be??? I had a friend check if the computer was fried and its not. Everything electrical checked out fine but it wont start I'm thinking maybe the ignition? idk any help would be appreciated

keep checking fuses i cant think of anything else but fuses thats the reason they are there in the first place
If the starter is wired directly to the battery, it might have fried the starter solenoid or the starter itself. Have it checked, if not the problem, keep checking fuses. Sometimes they hide fuse boxes in a few spots in the car(under the hood, driver's side dash, passenger side foot well under the dash).

I would bet the ranch your friend is wrong about the computer. You said; "I had a friend check if the computer was fried and its not." I believe it does not appear to be "fried" but you can bet your baby's shoes it is. The ECM fuse will usually protect its wiring and soldered circuits from damage but it will not protect its delicate integrated microcircuits and embedded software from damage, which can happen in a nano-second before the fuse blows if you connect that battery backwards. And I doubt the alternator diodes survived as well. Like the ECM microcircuits, the alternator diodes are delicate and polarity sensitive and can be destroyed in a nano-second before the fusible link protecting the circuit blows if you connect the battery backwards. Another always hot circuit is the clock, which may or may not have been spared damage before its fuse blew. As far as the ignition circuit and components are concerned, the ignition circuit components are likely to have been damaged only if you turned the ignition switch on after connecting the battery backwards. There again, the fuse will spare the wiring but it will not likely spare the delicate transistors and microprocessor chips in the solid-state electronic components which can also be destroyed in a nano-second before the fuse blows.
